This deal seems too good to be true. What's the catch?
This is a great deal. There is no catch. It does, however, benefit us too. We get to honor God with our talents. We also do make a little bit of profit on the small fee that you pay for this service. However, we're confident that you'll not find another deal like this anywhere.
How do we submit our weekly content to you?
Once you're accepted into the program, someone from 374 DESIGNS will contact you and discuss the best way to facilitate our relationship. Since we're offering this program nationally, there will be some method determined (most likely email or FTP) for transferring files among pertainent parties.
What happens if a project you're working on for us goes over our 3 hour allotment?
If a project takes additional time beyond the 3 hours you're paying for a week, we'll be happy to continue the work the following week, or for time sensitive work, we'll complete it for our regular hourly fee. We are not out to trick you or scam you into paying for extra time. If you request a project that we feel like will take more than your 3 hours, we'll do our best to let you know up front. And, of course, we'll work hard for you (because we're actually working to serve God) and get you as much design in your 3 hours as possible.
What are the qualifications for an organization to be a part of this program?
The purpose of the Serve15 program is to serve churches who do not have the resources to have a person on staff to do their communications work. With that in mind, all we ask is that you honestly state that you lack such resources. After you've completed the sign up form, we'll contact you to discuss your eligibility. If we determine that you could benefit from the program, you're in.
What type of work is included in the agreement?
We'll do any basic web design or graphic design, including but not limited to Bulletins, Newsletters, Signs, Brochures, and flyers.
What type of work is excluded from the agreement?
Advanced web work (programming php, flash design, etc) is not included. Web hosting is also not included. For print work, printing is your responsibility. We know some great printing companies and can probably get you a competitive quote, but the cost of printing is on you. We're happy to assist you in these areas, but the burden is on you.
What happens if we need out of our 1-year contract?
Since we're offering a significant discount on our pricing, and since this is an exclusive offer to only 15 churches, our request is that you agree to a 1-year contract. If you need out of that contract, we require that you pay 1/2 of your remaining commitment. So, if you opt out with 6 months remaining, we ask that you pay 3 months of work.
Why do you ask organizations to sign a contract?
We're taking a significant loss on this project to serve you. In order for us to do so, we need to make sure you're committed to the partnership. This also allows us to better plan with our staff and to let churches on a waiting list (when there are any) know the status of the program and give them an idea of when an opening might occur.
Do you have a portfolio of work we can see before we decide to commit?
Yes. This program is sponsored by 374 DESIGNS and a portfolio is available on their web site.
What about printing?
The costs associated with printing are your responsibility. Any design we do for you for print work will be discussed with you prior to the work being done to make sure you are aware of potential costs. We're happy to help you arrange your printing and will handle the printing for you for an additional fee. We have arrangements with several printers and can usually get you a better deal than when you deal with a printer on your own. We're here to serve and happy to help.
How can we thank you for offering such a fantastic program?
We like cookies and coffee drinks!
We're here to serve God with our talents and our eternal rewards are thanks enough.
